Hey!! It's funny that you would write because I was thinking just today that I have a more specific request that I do want to ask you to pray about....

The Lord has given me a tremendously AMAZING opportunity very recently to reach out to some prostitutes in our city. B, I think this is one of my answers to prayer for direction and exposure in regards to missions type of work. I wish I could type with as much excitement as is literally filling my heart right now. God is REAL, He is at work, He is in the business of saving people... and I have seen it all the more this past weeks. We went out there two weeks ago, out to the street where they stand waiting for customers, and from the beginning these girls were incredibly open and willing for us to talk to them about Jesus and to pray with them, right there and then with them. The second time we went we took hot chocolate and brownies to them and got to know them a bit more. It is so cold out there, they are in a parking lot waiiting for customers so it is not like they can shelter themselves from the cold and of course, they are not too covered, ya know.. because they need to attract men. They were so grateful for that hot chocolate. So after we had been with them for a while, talking with them, as we were leaving one of them asked us if we were not going to invite them to church!!!!!! We are like, "YES!! When?!?!" THEY CAME TO CHURCH LAST NIGHT!!!! We picked them up. 3 of them came, one of them with her husband and baby... another one with her little boy....and they want to keep coming! At least one of them is. God gave so much grace to the Sunday School teacher that welcomed the little boy and he had a great time in his class.
Please pray especially for A. A. has been doing this type of work for the past 15 years.  She´s a crack addict and is probably the one who's shown a more receptive attitude, she was actually the one to ask whether we'd invite them to church. SO... we've already been aware that she's probably the one to get more opposition from the devil. She's so interested, you know? Well, she had a minor car accident on her way to church last night and couldn't make it. We were so sad she couldn't meet us. So last night, as we were eating dinner and talking about all this, I said I wish we could go see A. before next friday. My dear friend V. then proposed we go back last night. So we went to that corner... and much to our grief, two of the prostitutes that had gone to church with us were back there... and A. was there too!! That's when she told us about her accident and we the marks in her leg... A. herself told us how she had remembered what V. had told her on Friday about the opposition she was about to experience now that she had expressed that desire. Anyway, we were so happy to see our new friends once more and tell them one more time what a joy it is for us to know them.

R., how can we explain this apart from the AMAZING grace of God. We're SPEECHLESS. We have not done anything... God has been doing it all.
